Amuse.io, a Stockholm, Sweden, mobile record startup raised SEK 3M ($330k) in seed money. Backers include a range of local angel investors such as Johan Persson, Bassam Mattar, Mattias Danielsson, Roshi Motman or Jorg Mohaupt.

Amuse, founded in 2015 by a group of 5 people and led by CEO Diego Farias, wants to become world's first mobile record company, by providing an app that acts as a free music distributor of independent artists around the world.

Their target is artists not signed with an established label, who upload their music on the Amuse app, and then track its performance. The music is distributed on various consumer channels, while Amuse uses technology for assessing the potential success of an artist, based on listening data.
