Beleco secures SEK 1.6M in a seed round to further develop a furniture marketplace 6 months after getting into STING.

Beleco, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a marketplace for renting and selling furniture, announced closing a SEK 1.6M ($200k) investment round.

The money comes from local investors including Mattias Weinhandl, Simon Josefsson, Anna Ljungbergh and Soläng Invest.

Beleco was founded in 2016 by Marie Rudenstam (CEO), Sebastian Rudenstam and Pontus Gustafsson and is working on the development of a marketplace and community for rental of furniture, where individuals and business owners have the ability to hire, "rent-buy" or purchase their furniture, both new and secondhand. in February 2017, Beleco got accepted into STING's incubator program, which provides tech startups coaching for a period taking 6 to 18 months.
