Boatflex raises DKK 5M from SEED Capital for its peer to peer platform for boat rentals.

Boatflex, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based peer-to-peer platform for boat rentals raised DKK 5M ($730k) in a fresh equity investment round. The backers include SEED Capital as well as two un-named local business angels.

Boatflex, founded in 2014 Jakob Bojesen (CEO), Jes Brinch and Jonas Høgh Christensen, provides a peer to peer platform for boat rentals between trusted and passionate sailors. They have 1400 rental boats on the platform, 4000 registered users, and in 2016 there registered 200,000 unique visitors.

Prior to this investment, in the summer of 2016, Boatflex raised DKK 1.3M ($195k) from angel investors, including former head of North Sails, Jens Hakon Christensen.
