Budbee raises SEK 29M for its distribution marketplace

Budbee, a Stockholm, Sweden online marketplace for distribution companies, raised a SEK 29M ($3.3M) investment round.

The backers include existing investors, such as 41an Invest or Sebastian Siemiatkowski, and new ones - Paul Fischbein and Robert Andren. The money will be used for product investment and market expansion.

Budbee, founded in 2012 and led by CEO Fredrik Hamilton, provides an online marketplace connecting distributors and companies that need to get supplies to consumers.

Prior to this investment, Budbee raised more than $2M, with the last one early in 2016, of about $1.2M. In 2015, the company recorded about 750k euro in sales with 70k euro in losses.
