Enjay raises SEK 3.1M for an innovative ventilation system.

Enjay, a Malmo, Sweden-based startup developing an innovative solution for better ventilation in restaurants, raised SEK 3.1M in funding. The backers are local angel investor Peter Engberg (SEK 1.1M) and Energimyndigheten (The Swedish Energy Agnecy).

Enjay, founded in 2011 by Nils Lekeberg and Jesper Wirén, has developed Lepido, an innovative product that that recovers energy from ventilation systems from restaurants, using a heat pump and a purifying filter function. The product, still in early stages, has been tested in a local Burger King restaurant and is expected to hit the market in 2018.
