Frilans Finans closes SEK 20M in fresh funding from Pepins.

Frilans Finans, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing invoice solutions for freelancers, closed a SEK 20M ($2.5M) investment round on Pepins, a Swedish crowdfunding platform.

The money comes from more than 100 backers on a campaign that started at the end of August 2017.

Frilans Finans, foundd in 1999 and led by CEO Stephen Schad, is one of the Nordic region's largest self-employment company, which allows natural persons to invoice without having their own business. More than 45,000 people have invoiced without companies through Freelans Finans, and in total more than 300,000 invoices have been sent. In 2017, sales are expected to amount to approximately SEK 900 million.
