Fuse, the Norway/USA-based creator of the tool suite for app developers and designers, announced that it has secured $12 million series A from a group of investors.

The investment round includes the existing backers Northzone and Alliance Venture, and brings total funding to $19 million. This is the largest single round of funding Fuse has received to date.

Fuse was founded in Oslo in 2011 by mobile graphics veterans who wanted to fix app and user experience creation for both designers and developers.

The company, led by CEO Anders Lassen, provides a UX tool suite that closes the gap between prototyping and actual development. As such, those tools let designers & developers work together and create native apps that look and feel great, in less time and on more platforms.

Fuse has offices in Oslo, Norway and Palo Alto, California, USA.
