Intelligent Marking, a Hjørring, Denmark-based startup developing a robot providing automatic line marking for sport complexes, raised an undisclosed amount of investment from local private investor Mikkel Jacobsen. The money will be used to further grow the company in new markets.

Intelligent Marking, founded in 2013 by Andreas Ydesen and Anders Ulrik Sørensen, has developed a robot that is used by sports organisations to have the lines drawn in their fields. The company registered about DKK 3M ($425k) in sales in 2016 and aims to sell 1000 robots in 2019.
