Kieku Labs, a Helsinki, Finland-based startup providing personalised audio content, announced the completion of its seed funding at a total of €700k.

The investment was announced in June 2016 and the money comes from Swedish angel investors, Erik Fischbeck and Gert Nordin, as well as from Tekes, the Finnish state-owned investement company.

Kieku was founded in 2016 and is led by CEO Sampsa Fabritius. The startup has developed an algorithm based on machine learning that generates a custom-made feed based on the types of content you listen to and the ones you skip.

As such, Kieku offers an easy way to listen to content that is selectively curated for the personal taste. By registering and pushing play, the unique AI engine begins to learn your listening behavior and offers audio content that matches your interests.
