Lendify, a Stockholm, Sweden-based P2P lending platform focusing on consumer loans, announced raising SEK 21M ($2.4M).

The transaction got Lendify a new minor, undisclosed, strategic investor while existing shareholders offered to subscribe pro rata basis. The issue was negotiated at the beginning of 2017, the decision was taken at an extraordinary general meeting on 12 May and was completed on 1 June.

The announcement comes shortly after Lendify announced raising SEK 200M in investment bonds.

Later edit: according to Breakit, the strategic investor is GSB Investco AB, a company owned by Martin Gren, the founder of Axis Communication. GSB placed SEK 12.5M of the total round of SEK 21M.
