Matsmart, the Swedish discount retailer for non-fresh food, raises further SEK 36M
Matsmart was founded in 2012 by Karl Andersson, who is also the CEO of the company.
The company had an accelerated revenue growth for the past 36 months, with a jump from SEK 2.5M revenues in 2015 to 26 million in 2015 and an estimated of 70M by the end of 2016.
Now the company raises SEK 36M, in a round led by Northzone, and also adds new investors in the share ownership, among which Tedlex Capital Partners.
The investment round comes as a followup one to a SEK 30M also led by Northzone, made in 2016.
