Oiid closes NOK 13M in more funding from Kygo, a famous Norwegian DJ.

Oiid, a Bergen, Norway-based startup working on a mobile music application, raised NOK 13M ($1.7M) in a fresh investment round. The money comes from a range of local investors, including Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, also known as Kygo, as he is a local DJ.

Oiid, founded in 2015 and led by Yrjan Tangenes, has developed a music app that lets you take control of the instruments while the music is streaming. Prior to this transaction, Oiido raised about $2.5M in funding from investors including Capera Invest, Holberg Fondene and Sparebanken Vest.
