Vertaa Ensin from Finland raises a EUR 20 million financing round

Vertaaensin, a Helsinki, FInland based platform for comparison of financial products, had raised EUR 20M euro. The backers include international investors such as the global growth equity fund ACE & Company, Pacific Century Group, Nova Founders Capital, Japanese finance investor SBI Holdings, Mark Pincus, the founder of Zynga, Peter Thiel, the founder of Paypal and Facebook investor, and others.

Vertaaensin, founded in 2015 by Lauri Timgren and Mads Faurholt-Jorgensen, is Finland’s leading platform for comparison of financial products, such as credit cards and loans. The company provides a comparison service offered for free to users, giving a comprehensive and easy overview of the services that best match their needs.

The money will be used for improving the platform: the product selection will expand to include insurance and telco products. Further development will be focused on the growth of the team, marketing of the platform and further enhancement of the technology related to the website platform.
