Videquus, a Flyinge (near Lund), Sweden-based startup working on a system for horse monitoring, raised SEK 3.5M ($400k) in outside funding. The money comes from local investors Skaraborg Invest (in April 2017) and Palle Stenberg.

Videquus, established in Gothia Science Park and led by CEO Linus Jernbom, was formed in 2016 in Flyinge after winning a business development contest and receiving contributions from Almi Invest.

The company developed an intelligent horse monitoring system, in a market that has 360,000 horses in Sweden and a turnover of approximately SEK 47 billion.
