Werlabs, a Stockholm, Sweden-based health-tech startup, is in the process of closing a fresh equity funding of at least SEK 59.6M ($7.5M). The deal is still in progress and the names of the investors are undisclosed for the moment.

Werlabs was founded in 2013 by Rickard Lagerqvist and is led by CEO Will Stoddart. The company has developed a platform that allows customers to order their health checks and blood analyzes online. The concept works so that the user orders a blood analysis online, goes to a sampling clinic the following day and leaves blood, then receives the answers and medical commentary back online.

Prior to this transaction, Werlabs raised more than $4M in investment.

Later edit - Sunstone confirmed indirectly as being part of this round, when it announced the closing of their new investment fund, Sunstone Technology Fund IV.
