Widespace gets SEK 33M in a convertible loan.

Widespace, a Stockholm, Sweden mobile ad network took in a convertible loan totalling SEK 33M ($3.7M) from undisclosed investors.

Widespace is a mobile advertising company founded in 2007 and led by CEO and co-founder Patrik Fagerlund.

The company claims to be leader in mobile brand advertising in Europe, creating powerful bonds between brands and people via over 100 million smart phone users on their favorite sites and apps.

To date, Widespace raised about $17.7M in private equity, with the last one a year ago, in February 2016, in a round which included $12M equity funding from Northzone and Industrifonden and which valuated the company at $76M
