CryptoWomen: Introduction to Blockchain
Blockchain is the technology behind the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, but what else can it be used for? Why is it so important, and why are many companies starting to use blockchain to make their operations more efficient? And what are cryptocurrencies—and why might countries start issuing their own?
At this event you’ll hear about the early days of Bitcoin and its underlying technology, as well as the current state of the crypto world. You’ll also discover how cryptocurrencies will change the world, how blockchain can be used in everything from identity management to prediction software to smart contracts, and how to set up your own wallet containing cryptocurrencies. CryptoWomen is a community dedicated to bringing women together in the crypto/blockchain world. They invite you to come and explore the future with them and ask all the questions you want in a friendly space!
We're looking forward to seeing you!
