Fintech Tuesday hosted by Copenhagen Fintech and InfinIT is where we combine the knowledge of commercial stakeholders together with the newest research within the technical sciences.

This Fintech Tuesday will be about AML/KYC and Digital Identity, its potentials and current trends. For this, we have invited some of the most highly regarded researchers and companies within the area to present their groundbreaking solutions and current research and industry insights on the use case of

AML/KYC and Digital Identity.
Join us for an afternoon of some of the greatest research, business applications and minds within this area and explore its future potentials for the fintech sector.

16:00 - 16:05 Welcome & Introduction by Copenhagen Fintech
16:05- 16:35 Research Perspective: Tom Kirchmaier

Tom is Professor MSO at the Center for Corporate Governance at CBS, and Professorial Fellow at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. Tom is an empirical economist interested on the one hand in Banking and Finance, and on the other in Policing and Crime. Money Laundering is the perfect intersection between the two. As a warning, Tom is quite critical about the current state of affairs regarding AML around the world.

16:35 - 17:05 Industry Perspective: David Rennie, Director Strategy & Business Development, IDEMIA

David leads works at IDEMIA on development of B2B propositions for federated digital identity. He worked for the UK Government from 2005 to 2018 in the field of identity assurance, initially for the Home Office’s Identity Card Programme, then for HM Treasury supporting James Crosby’s Public / Private Forum on Identity Management, Cabinet Office and latterly the Government Digital Service (GDS) GOV.UK Verify service. As a Board member of the UK Chapter of the Open Identity Exchange, David initiated projects such as the Pensions Dashboard, Opening of an overseas bank account and development of the Mobile Network Operators KYC service.
