TECH Talks Stockholm - Machine Learning & AI
Come to the first ever TECH Talks in Stockholm! We’re really excited to host our first event here in Sweden and we’d love to invite you, IT professionals and technology enthusiasts, to join us. As places and refreshments are limited, it’s best to register in advance (it's free :)
What awaits you:
This TECH Talks will offer exclusive insights into Machine Learning and AI. The first speaker, Carl Thomé from Peltarion, will take us on an exciting journey of "Using deep learning models". The second speaker of the evening will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
After the talks, we’ll move on to the networking part of the evening - because nothing beats an offline chat with people on the same wavelength as you. Besides a great atmosphere, food and drink will also be provided plus you’ll have the chance to meet the people behind Techloop.
Presentations & Speakers
Carl Thomé has an excellent track record of applying machine learning for music understanding and has been an active contributor to Keras and TensorFlow since 2016. From computer science, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, he developed an interest in music information retrieval (MIR) and sound and music computing (SMC), and he now works as an AI Research Engineer at Peltarion, a Sweden-based deep learning company on a mission to make AI accessible to all.
TECH Talks TOPIC: Using deep learning models
Making deep learning models that actually work is tough. After having finally jumped through hoops of GitHub Issues, pull requests and buggy software, your model is finally trained, but what now? In this talk, Carl Thomé will present a practical proposal on how we should deploy and share our models, with an interactive demo of gradient-weighted class activation maps in the browser.
