Adaptive Simulations raises 1.5 million euros from Creathor and Karma Ventures
Adaptive Simulations, a Stockholm, Sweden-based SAAS provider of virtual automated flow simulations, announced raising EUR 1.5M ($1.65M). The money comes from German Creathor Venture and from Estonian Karma Ventures and will be used for starting the commercialisation of the company's technology.
Adaptive Simulations was founded in 2015 as a spin-out of tech-university KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The company, led by CEO Sebastian Desand, provides virtual simulations market cloud-based fully automated flow simulations as a service.
The product innovation is enabled by adaptive algorithms, based on years of research in numerical analysis, computer science and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The algorithms replace the cumbersome and complex work done manually by simulations experts today.
