Agilitas finances the buyout of Teracom Danmark.

Teracom Danmark, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based broadcast tower infrastructure network, announced getting into an agreement to get UK-based mid market private equity house Agilitas as a new major shareholder in the company.

Specifically, Agilitas will buyout Teracom A/S and Digital Radio Teracom A/S to form Teracom Danmark, Denmark’s leading independent tower company.

Financials and other details of the deal remained undisclosed. Kevin Iermiin of Agilitas will be joining the Board of Teracom Danmark. The transaction will close once the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority have released approval.

Teracom Danmark, led by CEO Martin Løbel, is a broadcast tower company, providing mobile network operators nationwide colocation coverage. The Company owns 34 high towers (>100m) across Denmark, providing cost-effective nationwide broadcast and transmission coverage, and owns the land and buildings on 28 of the 34 tower sites as well as equipment across c. 170 additional sites.

The Company also owns and operates datacentres, 3,500 km of fibre connections, internet of things services and maintains networks for mission critical services.The business is headquartered in Copenhagen and has approximately 70 employees.
