Béa Fertility announced getting funded with $1 million by Calm/Storm Ventures and QVentures.
Béa Fertility, a London, UK-based startup working on the development of at-home fertility treatments, announced completing a pre-series A round of $1 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Calm/Storm Ventures and joined by QVentures, and includes a grant from the InnovateUK. Proceeds will be used to transition the company from prototype to carrying out clinical studies and going to the market.
Béa Fertility, founded in 2020 by David O’Rourke and Tess Cosad, aims to provide what they call a fertility-as-a-service, namely an affordable fertility treatment for individuals and couples who are struggling to conceive. The treatment will be available for a monthly subscription service, and will include a companion app and a support community and network of experts.
Béa Fertility expects to be available to customers by the end of 2021.
