Bocap announced a €50 million first closing of a fresh new PE growth fund

Bocap a Helsinki, Finland-based investment company, announced the closing of its 3rd private equity fund ‘’Bocap SME Achievers Fund III’’ at €50 million.

The fund has a target of €100M together with co-investments, and total direct commitments of €70M.

Bocap SME Achievers Fund III is aimed for the acqusition of established small and medium-sized high growth Finnish companies having sales between 4 and €50 million. The Fund’s investors are leading Finnish institutional investors (such as Nordea Life, SITRA, OP Life) as well as family offices and other investment vehicles.

Bocap, founded in 2012 by Julianna Borsos, is an independent private equity company looking to back growth SMEs via a controlled minority-based strategy. The strategy is to invest into entrepreneur-led companies that can profitably triple or quadruple their revenue in 2 to 5 years prior to a common exit.
