Confrere, an Oslo, Norway-based provider of a software as a service video solution via a browser, secured NOK 12M ($1.5M) in capital investment.

The money was provided by a range of institutional and angel investors, including Point Nine Capital, which led the round with roughly $1M, and joined by Nordic Makers, The Nordic Web Ventures and Fathom Capital.

Confrere, founded in 2017 by Svein Willassen (CEO), Dag-Inge Aas and Ida Aalen, developed video software tailor-made for professionals meeting 1–1 with their clients. The solution was initiated as an online tool dedicated to doctors and psychologists to meet the patients via video. The company also has integrated Confrere into PsykBase, the journal system of 95 percent of the psychologists from Norway.
