DigiExam raises SEK 10M more, changes CEO.

DigiExam, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing an education platform for students taking exams digitally, closed a SEK 10M ($1.25M) investment round.

The money comes from the existing investors, as well as from local angel investor Sorosh Tavakoli.

At the same time, the company announced that Gustaf Nordbäck will become the new CEO of the company, while the former, co-founder Johan Hägglund, will become responsible for leading the US business development.

DigiExam was founded in 2011 and became market leader in the Nordic Countries working with over 500 schools as customers all around the world.

Prior to this deal, the company raised more than $5M in outisde funding from investors including Calvin Zhang, Catherine Leung, Gustav Söderström, Jeremias Andersson, Joen Bonnier, Sophia Bendz or Sven Hagströmer.
