Dixa, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing cloud-based customer service software that enables delivery of personal support on phone, email and chat directly from browser, secured DKK 11M ($1.8M) in an equity investment round.

The backers include SEED Capital and local angel investor Preben Damgaard, and the money will be used to strengthen product development, sales and marketing in order to expand the company's solutions outside Denmark.

Dixa, founded in 2015 by Jacob Vous Petersen, Jakob Nederby Nielsen, Krisztian Tabori and Mads Fosselius (CEO), developed a cloud-based customer service software with telephony, email and chat powered by human and artificial intelligence. The company helps setup browser-based cloud call center platforms that features automatic call distribution, call queues, outbound caller IDs, and personalized greetings.

Dixa is still not profitable, having lost about DKK 1M ($160k) in 2016. Prior to this deal, the company raised about $1M in capital funding from angel investors Lars Thinggaard and Nikolaj Kornum.
