Drugstars, a Danish mobile healthtech startup, gets pre-seeds money, wants to expand to USA.
Drugstars, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup providing a mobile medicine tracker, announced raising DKK 3.5M ($500k). The backers include SEED Capital and Henrik Holmark, a business executive formerly a CFO at Pandora.
Drugstars, led by CEO Claus Møldrup, provides a mobile application that lets users keep track of taking medicines as prescribed by the doctor, while awarding ‘DrugStars’, which can be used the stars to activate donations to charities.
Drugstars wants to use the investment for moving the company in the States and for getting to 1 million users by the end of 2017.
