Goodiebox raises more money from inQvation and Morten Strunge.
Goodiebox, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing beauty products via a subscription service, announced in a press release that it secured capital investment.
The financial details remain undisclosed and the money was provided by existing investor Morten Strunge, joined by InQvation. The investment will be used to support the company's growth efforts in Denmark, Holland and Norway while expanding to new markets.
In conjunction with the transaction, Christian Læsø, CEO of Zibra Family Office ApS (inQvation's LP), will join Goodiebox's board of directors.
Goodiebox, founded in 2011 by Nikolaj Leonhard-Hjorth and CEO Rasmus Schmiegelow, provides a monthly subscription for a box of cosmetics targeted for women. In addition to the subscription concept, the company has developed its own range of beauty products under the name COMME DEUX.
Goodiebox has about 50,000 subscribers supported by 40 employees from offices in Copenhagen and Amsterdam. The company is yet to be profitable as it recorded DKK 26M ($4M) in 2017.
