Instapoll, a Trondheim, Norway-based startup providing a software solution for sentiment analysis, secured NOk 2M ($260k) in seed capital. The money comes from Wiski Capital and will be used to further develop the business.

Instapoll was founded in 2016 by Nils-Helge Garli Hegvik and Thor Richard Isaksen with the aim to develop a sentiment analysis tool for politics and for the world of sports.

The startup has already a paying customer, the local media company TV2, for which they provide real time audience sentiment during live footbal matches. A game can provide for analysis between 150,000 - 500,000 messages from social media about players and coaches.
