Inzpire announced a $1.3M investment round from Schibsted, SNÖ Ventures and Nordic angel investors.
Inzpire.me, an Oslo, Norway-based company operating an advertising marketplace connecting online content creators with branding campaigns, announced in a press release securing a EUR 1.2M ($1.3M) capital investment round.
The financing was provided by Nordic investors, including media group Schibsted through Schibsted Growth, Thomas Falck, SNÖ Ventures and Martin Ingemansson. As part of the investment, Kajsa Gatenbeck, Investment Manager at Schibsted Media Group, is joining inzpire.me’s board.
The money will be used for continued product development, growth in existing Nordic markets as well as expansion into new markets.
Inzpire.me, founded in 2016 by Mads Lyngstad (CEO) and Marie Mostad, built an advertising network with the aim to connect brands to content creators with big audiences.
According to the company, the platform is available in 100 countries and is currently being used by 10,000 content creators and more than 3,000 brands, such as L’Oréal, Universal Music Group, Unicef and Greenpeace.
Inzpire has 22 employees and previously raised almost $1.2M.
