Juno to get seeded with $2.2 million by InReach Ventures, Mustard Seed Maze, RLC, Digital Currency Group and Sie Ventures.
Juno, a London, UK-based startup developing a gamified financial-education app for women, completed a seed funding round closed at $2.2 million.
The money was raised from investors led by InReach Ventures and joined by Mustard Seed Maze, RLC, Digital Currency Group and Sie Ventures. The round included money contributed by angel investors Rupa Popat (ex-director of RBC), Elissa Grey (senior vice president at Essence), RaeHyun Koh (portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs), Pallavi Reddy (investment director at Aviva), Emma Cohen (ESG and impact director at Goldman Sachs) and Antoine Sakho (head of product at Busuu).
The proceeds will be used to scale the existing team of eight, and grow the community in new regions around the world, with a particular focus on France, Germany and North America.
Juno, founded in 2021 by siblings Alexia and Margot de Broglie, developed a mobile app aiming to provide financial literacy access for women and non binary people. The company says that it has 10,000 downloads, with its audience being primarily made up of Gen Z women.
Juno previously raised a £250k pre-seed round in 2021.
