Kamu was acquired by Epic Games

Kamu, a Helsinki, Finland-based gaming company, was acquired by Epic Games, the American gaming company which authored Fortnite.

The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.

Kamu, founded in 2013 as Easy Anti-Cheat and led by CEO Simon Allaeys, offers a suite of services focusing on game security, game telemetry, and game management. The Easy Anti-Cheat tool provides players with a holistic anti–cheat service and protects more than 80 games as is installed by over 100 million PC players globally. The company has worked with Epic on Fortnite for the past several months.
