Kido Dynamics in a €1.9M seed funding round backed by Spicehaus Swiss Venture
Kido Dynamics, a Lausanne, Switzerland-based intel SAAS provider of geo-analytics information extracted from telecom network data, announced the completion of a €1.9M ($2.2M) seed funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Spicehaus Partners through its Spicehaus Swiss Venture Fund, joind by B4Motion Labs and Boundary Holding.
Kido Dynamics, founded in 2018 as an EPFL spin-off by Alberto Hernando de Castro and CEO Ignacio Barrios Baños, developed a software solution sold to multiple industries and public institutions, helping them understand and predict people’s mobility. The tool analyzes and measures geo-analytics information from telecom network data and is in use by clients in 12 countries worldwide. The company claims it's currently covering more than 100 billion events and close to 2 billion trips daily.
