Kidsbrandstore, a Västerås, Sweden-based company managing an ecommerce fashion operation business for kids, secured SEK 60M ($7M) in a new investment round.

The money comes from the existing investor, eEquity, and will be used to further scale up the business in the Nordic countries.

Kidsbrandstore, founded in 2011 by Mikael Arnåsen and Peter Markstedt, manages an online fashion store for children and adolescents aged 8-16 years. The company also has physical stores and, according to the Swedish records, overall it runs a profitable business, with SEK 67M in sales in 2016.

In 2015 eEquity invested SEK 21M ($25M) in KidsBrandStore at a SEK 50M valuation.

After this transaction, the investment company becomes the major investor in Kidsbrandstore.
