Learning Software Company from Norway, Skooler, Closes $3M in Funding

Skooler, an Oslo, Norway-based education company providing a collection of Learning tools, built inside Microsoft Office 365 announced ading $3M as investment in the company.

The round was led by existing investor Viking Venture, a Nordic venture capital fund which now owns 41% of the company, with participation from Roger Larsen, former CEO and founder of LMT company Fronter and TD Veen.

Viking Venture is a previous investor in the Norwegian LMT company It’s learning. Roger Larsen, former CEO and founder of the successful LMT company Fronter, is an investor in Skooler and coinvests with Viking Venture in this round adding up to a total of 22 million NOK.

The company intends to use the funds to strenghten its international expansion.

Skooler is supplying Learning Management Tools (LMT) software for education which integrates into the Microsoft Office365 product suite.
