Näktergal, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup developing a digital mortgage platform, secured SEK 5M ($550k) in capital investment.

The money was provided by existing investor Uttran Invest and is a guaranteed capital contribution part of the company's efforts to raised a bigger investment round. Earlier in 2018, Uttran contributed with a SEK 2M ($230k) in capital investment.

Näktergal, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Erik Bennerhult, wants to become an alternative for banks providing mortgage products. The company still waits for the approval from the Swedish authorities (Finansinspektionen) in order to start its operations.
