Nemuru announced raising €2.6 million from InnoCells, Bankia Fintech Venture and existing investors

Nemuru, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup providing financial loans via a digital platform, announced completing an equity funding round of €2.6 million ($3.1M).

The money was provided by a range of investors from Spain, including InnoCells, Bankia Fintech Venture, Antai Venture Builder, Encomenda, Lánzame, Plug and Play and Scale Lab Andorra.

Proceeds will be used to hire more people, launch of new products and scaling teh company's business model in Spain and internationally.

Nemuru was incubated by Antai Venture Builder in 2018 and developed a website via which it aims to provide and administer the management process of financial loans. The company manages more than €1 million and works with customers including Uponor, ISDI, Iron Hack or Nuclio Digital School.

Prior to this round, Nemuru raised about $2 million.
