node energy raised €7 million in Series A funding from German investors led by BitStone Capital.
node energy, a Frankfurt, Germany-based software startup developing SAAS for the regulatory and commercial management of decentralized energy supply systems, announced completing series A financing round closed at €7 million ($7.1 million).
The money was raised from investors led by BitStone Capital, and joined by High-Tech Gründerfonds, 10x Founders, BonVenture and Finland-based Helen Ventures.
node energy, founded in 2016 by Lars Manuel Rinn and CEO Matthias Karger, developed the opti.node software, a tool aiming to simplify the management of wind and solar systems, helping them to easily and automatically create invoices, tax forms and official reports. The company claims that its solution is being used to manage 9500 wind turbine energy and solar systems in over 2,500 wind and solar parks and 400 commercial and industrial properties that are paying customers.
