NorthWorx secured SEK 3M from Westerlinds.
NorthWorx, a Härnösand, Sweden-headquartered operator of co-working spaces, announced that it secured SEK 3M ($330k) in capital investment.
The money was provided by real estate investor Westerlinds and will be used to support the development of NorthWorx, which is a direct result of a merger of three smaller companies operating in Northern Sweden: House Be, Great Space och HINK.
As a result of the merger, Northworx (NWX) operates co-working spaces in Åre, Östersund, Umeå, Härnösand and Sundsvall, hosting 200 companies. The company works with two concepts: House Be - a deeper offering with target group entrepreneurs, startups, digital companies and investors. Great Space caters to a broader offering with the target group of small to medium sized companies looking for flexible office solutions.
The two subsidiaries will be led by Fredrik Viklund, CEO of House Be, and Petter Ekman, CEO of Great Space.
