Office Recycling adds SEK 9M in capital investment from Håkan Roos.

Office Recycling, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing recycling services to business owners, announced the completion of a SEK 9M ($930k) capital investment round.

The money was provided by Håkan Roos, who will retain a 25% equity stake in the company.

Office Recycling, founded in 2011 by CEO Philip Eklöf, sells subscriptions for collecting waste and providing recycling services.

The company built a fleet of completely fossil-free vehicles and a new design concept for recycling vessels and also operates another company Smart Bins, which supplies a machine learning solution called Bin-e. This solution can automatically identify, sort and compress the waste. providing the waste level in real time, which means that emptying can be done at the right time, something that eliminates unnecessary emptying.

Office Recycling has a turnover of SEK 40M ($4.2M) and has a staff of 36.
