Peppy Pals gets SEK 2M from Internetstiftelsen (IIS) to launch an EQ platform.

Peppy Pals, a Stockholm, Sweden-based game developer for education purposes, announced in a press release that they received an equity investment of SEK 2M ($240k) from IIS (Internetstiftelsen).

Peppy Pals, founded in 2013 by CEO Rosie Linder, has developed a range of high quality children’s games used for both entertaining and educational purposes.

The company intends to use the received investment to launch an EQ platform that gathers all of its products into an adventurous app for children as well as a web-based version for parents and teachers. Peppy Pals aims to make money from subscriptions and licensing, aiming to get to 10,000 subscribers and 1,000 year licenses in 2018.

Prior to this deal, the company closed a small investment round from three local angel investors - Hampus Jakobsson, Ludvig Linge and Elisabet Nathhorst.
