Redhill Games secured $18.6 million.

Redhill Games, a Helsinki, Finland-based studio working for the development of a free-to-play PC game, completed a funding round of $18.6 million.

The money was raised from new and existing investors, including NetEase Capital, Makers Fund, Kowloon Nights and angel investors David Helgason and Jason Kay.

Redhill Games, founded in 2018 by CEO Matias Myllyrinne, is working on a first title called Nine to Five, free-to-play team shooter expaected to be launched in open beta test on Steam. The company has 60 developers from 18 nationalities and spread out in Finland, Sweden, Cyprus, and Belgium.

In addition to this round, Redhill Games secured $11.4M from Makers Fund and Play Ventures back in 2019.
