Responsible Foods completed a capital investment funding round.

Responsible Foods, a Reykjavík, Iceland-based food startup, announced the completion of a capital investment round.

The capital amount was not disclosed. The investors included a mix of local companies and private investors from Iceland, including MS Iceland Dairies, Lýsi, and Ó. Johnson og Kaaber, which will distribute Responsible Foods’ products within Iceland.

Responsible Foods was founded in 2019 by CEO Holly T. Kristinsson with the aim to begin the production of health food from Icelandic raw materials. The company launched its product that is sold under the brand Næra.
