Sciety adds $1.2M in outside capital to invest in its equity crowdfunding platform for the health sector.

Sciety, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company managing an online platform for crowfunding private companies from the health industry, announced securing SEK 10M ($1.2M) in capital investment added to the company.

The money comes from 30 Swedish investors, including several of Sciety's customers and existing shareholders such as Bengt Julander (through Linc Invest), Sture Hallström and Anders Söderlund.

Sciety was launched in 2016 by Andreas Lindblom and Malin Härdig and since then it has managed to provide funding of about SEK 65M to 10 companies.
