Sideline Labs raises $320k for its mobile esport consumer solution.

Sideline Labs, a Sundsvall, Sweden-based esports company, announced in a press release that it secured capital commitments of SEK 3M ($320k).

The money was provided by investors including Almi Invest and Norrlands Riskkapitalstiftelse and will be used to further develop and launch the company's first game title, Sideline Unit Football.

Sideline Labs, founded in 2016 by CEO Stefan Sångberg and Joakim Bodin, is working for launching an American football gaming competition, Sideline Unit Football, which allows groups of friends to collaborate to win against other teams in the game's league system. The game is in a beta version and is expected to be fully launched in 2019.
