Sniph raises SEK 5M, launches UK operations.
Sniph, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing an on-demand service for perfumes, secured SEK 5M ($590k) in outside funding.
The money comes from new and existing investors, including STING, siblings Helena Herlogsson and Fredrik Månsson, Anna Ljungbergh, Fredrik Berglund, Tara Derakshan and former Spotify and Tradedoubler founder, Martin Lorentzon through his Cyprus-based company Rosello. On the same ocassion, Sniph announced the official launching of their UK operations.
Sniph, founded in 2015 by Elisabet Kjellqvist (CEO), developed an on-demand online service that provides perfumes against a monthly subscription of SEK 159 ($19). The company, which recorded SEK 900k ($105k) in revenues in 2016, got accepted at STING in February 2016 and raised an additional SEK 650k ($76k) from angel investors including Fredrik Månsson and Peter Settman.
