Spoko in a €5 million round backed by the Poland-based VC FinTech Ventures.
Spoko, a Warsawa, Poland-based company operating an internation money transfer business, announced completing a €5 million ($5.9M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from the local investor from Poland Fintech Ventures.
Spoko, founded in 2017 by CEO Evgeny Chamtonau and Aliaksandr Horlach, built a service providing instant international cash transfers. The service is available on the web or via mobile apps, and is available for sending money from 32 countries to 45 countries. Transfers to Nigeria, Ukraine, Brazil, and Turkey can all be made without a commission fee.
Spoko peviously raised about $1.2 million.
