Storyblok to raise $8.5 million from Mubadala Capital, alongside existing investors firstminute capital and 3VC.

Storyblok, a Linz, Austria-based software company operating a business based on a CMS tool, announced that it completed a $8.5 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Mubadala Capital, and included contributions from existing backers firstminute capital and 3VC.

Storyblok, founded in 2017 by Alexander Feiglstorfer and Dominik Angerer, developed a headless CMS tool that has a visual editor used for providing highly customizable content blocks. The tool is in use by paying customers including Pizza Hut, Adidas, UPC, Greggs, Decathlon and has been used for roughly 60,000 projects since the company's inception.

Storyblok previously raised $2.5 million in 2019.
