Swedish SAAS TenderEasy acquired by Belgium-based global logistics software company Alpega.
TenderEasy, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of technology for transport sourcing, by offering a freight cost optimization SaaS cloud based platform, announced it is now part of Alpega, a leading global logistics software company, effective as per December 31st 2017.
The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
TenderEasy, founded in 2004 by Johan Vagerstam (CEO) and Anders Abjörn (CTO), provides a freight contract tendering solution, launched in 2012. The company was almost breakeven in 2016, at a turnover of SEK 3.8M ($470k).
TenderEasy was owned by Swedish venture firm 7-C Ventures, which bought the company in 2015.
Alpega, headquartered in Zaventem, Belgium, was formed in 2017 as a leading global logistics software company that offers end-to-end solutions covering all transport needs, including TMS solutions and freight exchanges.
