Templafy, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing a SaaS platform for enterprise template management and document creation, announced the acquisition of the Netherlands-based iWRITER, a company providing Microsoft Office solutions for brand identity & template management.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

iWRITER, led by managing director Arjen Hartog, gives access to Office templates in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel, connecting corporate identity assets to other internal databases. The company has more than 350,000 users from 1,200 businesses.

Templafy, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen, built a cloud-based platform that aggregates custom company templates, brand assets, and best practice content, making them available across an entire organisation.

This is the second acquisition of Templafy in less than a year. In August 2018, it acquired Berlin-based Veodin and added Veodin’s SlideProof to the Templafy’s platform.

In 2018, Templafy raised almost $33M in venture funding, being backed by investors including Insight Venture Partners and Dawn Capital.
